OneHeart Conference is a power-packed weekend full of connection, excitement, and encounter with God. It is a place where 6th – 12th-grade students come to build relationships, be inspired, and be equipped to live as disciples of Jesus Christ. Our desire is to bring students together with ‘One Heart’ and in one accord to encounter God and to leave better equipped to follow Christ daily.
This year, our conference theme is ‘The Jesus Way’.
In John 13, we witness a profound act of humility as Jesus washes the feet of His disciples. This moment encapsulates “The Jesus Way”—a path defined by love, service, and selflessness. Jesus, the Son of God, took on the role of a servant, demonstrating that true greatness in the Kingdom of God is found not in being served, but in serving others.
Embracing “The Jesus Way” transforms our perspective on life. In a world that often promotes individualism and self-promotion, Jesus calls us to live counter-culturally. By serving others, we reflect His love and grace, becoming instruments of His peace and hope.
When we serve like Jesus, we find fulfillment and purpose. Each act of kindness, no matter how small, is a step towards building God’s Kingdom on earth. Serving brings us closer to Christ, aligning our hearts with His. It teaches us humility, compassion, and the joy that comes from giving ourselves to others.
Activities:
Activities this year include Laser Tag, Glow Dodgeball, Mini-Golf, Volleyball, Basketball, Trike Races, Video Games, an Art Project, Nine-Square, Gaga Ball and more!

Women’s Beach Night
Summer beach nights are back! Grab some snacks, a beach chair and hit the sand with the ladies of LW! Look for the LW flag signs meet us there. We generally walk the beach and pier so make sure you have the footwear you’d like for that. Also, it’s often about ten degrees cooler on the lakeshore.

It’s our very first women’s potluck! We’ve had the pleasure of getting to taste all of your amazing cooking so we thought we’d make a night of it! Show up early (5 p.m.) and join other ladies for a hike. OR, simply arrive at 6:30 for the feasting. UNITE Conference
We invite you and your family to join us at the Unite Conference (Uniting families in Christ) on Saturday, Feb 1, 2025. Doors open at 10:00 AM.
This will be a great day full of opportunities to Unite as a family in Christ through worship, chapel, activities, games, and prizes. Everything we do at the Unite Conference is intended to help your family connect. Activities will include; laser tag, gaga ball, inflatables, mini golf, a petting zoo, arts and crafts, family worship, prizes, and more! The chapel and teaching will be relevant for all ages and families. Come worship, laugh, and grow together!
Parents, don’t just sit on the sidelines, make memories! Do the craft, play the game, pet the goat, and take the picture!

Women’s Hangouts - Snowshoe or Cross Country Ski with us!
Ladies! Head out to Pigeon Creek Lodge for cross country skiing or snowshoeing (rental is $8) with other ladies on January 15th. The event will begin earlier than usual, at 6 p.m. due to equipment rentals ending at 6:30. Pigeon Creek Trails are fun and they’re all lit! If you’re not a fan of Michigan winters, come anyway and hang out with other women in the lodge by the fire. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase.

A New Hope Christmas Program
Life West is putting on our very first LIFEKIDS Christmas Program. Join us for one or both morning services on December 22nd to hear the Christmas Story through song and dance.
Ignite : Hangout
Put on your Christmas pajamas and come on out to help us pack Relief Kit boxes for WE GIVE!
Afterwards, we’ll turn on a Christmas movie and down some hot chocolate. You do NOT want to miss this event.

During our Hangouts, here’s what your 6th-8th grade students can expect: Dinner will be available for FREE, and we will provide beverages. Our leaders will be providing a message and scripture reading, applicable games or activities that illustrate the message, and then we will break into small group discussions. These small groups are where the students are stretched to talk and think about how they can apply the message into their daily lives.
The last hour or so will differ each week with a fun, engaging, structured game or activity. The students will have time to build relationships with each other AND the leaders while we play! We were created to be in community with each other, and this time of fun is precious!

A New Hope Christmas Program REHEARSAL
Lifekids’ Christmas Program REHEARSAL
On December 15th, directly following the 11 a.m. service, we will be having our ONLY Lifekids’ Christmas Program rehearsal.
****(We are asking that Arrows families stay for the child/children’s portion of the rehearsal. Tribe families may stay if they would like OR fill out this waiver to leave children with us until 3pm pickup).
This will be the ONLY full rehearsal. As such, it’ll mean we get to spend some good, quality time together. We’ll begin at 12:30 and then we’ll get into the meat of the rehearsal, with rehearsal ending for different groups, as listed below:
- 2 p.m. Arrows will be finished with rehearsal
- 3 p.m. Tribe will be finished with rehearsal
- 4 p.m. All main characters and team will be finished with rehearsal
While we will not be mandating the rehearsal, it is strongly advised for your child to attend, for their enjoyment AND yours!

We will be gathering to hang out, talk about Jesus, and grow together. And yes, there will be snacks. ;)

FUEL - High School
Once a month all high schoolers gather to worship and grow together. We’re fueled by God, fueled by relationships, and yeeeeah, probably fueled by caffeine or soda, too. Not sure if hopping straight into a small group is your thing? Join us for Fuel.
Oh, and there will be dinner. So yeah. We’ll be fueled by that as well.
